Prof. Dr. Stefan Jung is co-founder of Public One Ltd., Berlin. Having been acting partner from 200 to 2009, he is today senior partner and member of the executive board. 2014 he returned to the position of acting partner. At Public One he specialises in consulting public organisations  and their decision makers in matters of  building strategy, organisational development and development of executive personell.  Stefan Jung has a positions as advisor in cooperation projects within the framework of development assistance. Prof. Jung is contributing since 2008 in the work group ‚Governance’ of  the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation Ltd. He earned a doctoral degree in economics from the university of Witten/Herdecke in 2007 with ‚summa cum laude’ for his work ‚Form der Reform’ (‚The shape of reform’).

He has got a chair for Management and Organisation at YMCA University of Applied Sciences in Kassel, Germany. He is head of  EKK-Institute for Ethical Management and is responsible for the master course „Management, Ethik und Organisation“ (MEO). Stefan Jung is a member of the university administration and has been head of  university development for five years. Since 2006 he is an assistant professor at the economics faculty of the University of Hannover in the area of transition and development of organisations which are part of human factors science. After working as a bank clerk he studied economics at the Witten/Herdecke University. Study visits to India, Spain and Ecuador followed. 2000 he completed his studies with a treatise about process consultation and methodology of dialogue cooperating with a research group of MIT Boston (Dr. Claus-Otto Scharmer).

Stefan Jung is a member of the advisory board of ‚Deutsche Tafel’ association. Before founding Public One Stefan Jung worked with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. He contributes in a honorary capacity to the project of erecting an ecumenical church in Essen, Germany since 1999. 2009 the project received the Future Prize ‘Phantasie des Glaubens’ of the Evangelical Church in Germany. He advises and supports church projects in southern India and Germany on a regular basis.

He lives together with his wife and his three children in  the evangelical community ‘Kirubai’ in Essen-Rüttenscheid, Germany.
